My Story

I built HabitDeck because I was stuck. Not in a rock bottom kind of way, but that slow, invisible kind of stuck. The kind where your to-do list never ends, motivation feels miles away, and every habit tracker or routine just makes you feel worse when you miss a day. It wasn't a discipline problem. It was the way we approach change. Psychology shows that action often comes before motivation. One small step can shift your brain from "stuck" to "moving". That insight changed everything.

I started giving myself one tiny challenge a day. Something random, doable, and pressure-free. "Text the person you're avoiding." "Sit outside for five minutes." No streaks. No guilt. Just one flip, one step forward. That experiment became HabitDeck: a playful way to build momentum and tackle real-life struggles, one card at a time. Change doesn't need to be perfect. It just needs to start.
